Nottingham Counselling Service got in touch after reading about us in the Nottingham Evening Post. They were after a new website to replace the one that they had been using for the past five years or so. After an initial chat NCS decided that they would like to take the opportunity to produce a site that did more than just signpost their services. 

With this in mind we proposed a site that offered plenty of scope for useful information as well as two different kinds of online directory. 

The Private Counsellors Directory offers details of accredited private counsellors who are there when the waiting times for the very busy NCS are too long to bear. The counsellors list in a random order each time the directory is visited ensuring that individuals are given equal treatment. Counsellors can be searched by specialism or by name.  

The Useful Contacts Directory signposts organisations who support specific needs. Support is listed alphabetically to make it easy to find what is required.

The website was made using a content management system called Expression Engine and it is totally compliant with current accessibility standards.

The new Nottingham Counselling Service website was developed by the Plexus Media team whilst it was working as Third Sector Media.
